mr_road Started way too fast, wasn't properly warmed up. After the 3rd mile settled in to the pace and found someone to run with(bertha) until KM 23 where I sped up towards the line. The course was good, and it was reasonably well organised. The beer tent at the finish was excellent. Unaffiliated 3:06:09 3:06:09 2:40:00 3:06:09 39.27

vicky38 Oh this was one of those days where you don't feel like you have it in you. Poor night sleep in hotel did not help. Run itself was ok, cold but dry. Only a few crowds but they were very supportive. Would definately do this one again. It was a good run to do pre-Marathon. Unaffiliated 2:49:00 2:49:00 2:15:00 2:49:00 48.81

First England Kilomathon from Nottingham to Derby and organisation was good.
Aim was a controlled just sub 7 min mile all the way to help set Stratford Marathon PMP. Found the 1st half comfortable then started to feel the effort in the second half. Most of second half into the wind. Steadily overtook people all the way except for the last 300 yds when I did not have much left for the sprint and was passed by a few. Happy with as good day at the office, well set up for Stratford. Unaffiliated 1:52:16 1:52:16 2:00:00 1:52:16 69.35
JovialGnome Not at all sure what to expect of this but I'll do my best to enjoy the day! Ran with a very sore calf muscle but was damned if I was going to give up! Alas a lot slower than I was hoping but it gives me something to beat next year and come what may is a PB! Did enjoy the race and thought it was quite well organized - hope everyone else did! hatterfan An excellent race. I thought the officials were probably over-cautious about the start, but it is the first year so real complaints. Perhaps some refreshments should made available at the start and thankfully it wasn't raining coz there was nowhere to shelter! 100 Marathon Club 2:25:24 2:25:24 2:25:24 50.73

Seratonin Really pleased with how it went. Had some sort of throat virus earlier in the week and felt really rough. Glad I perked up enough to run. Went out too quick. Strategy was to do 10 m/m for the first half then increase tempo. Did the first 4 miles at 9 m/m pace and this hit me at the 8 mile mark. But I did run all the way even though my body was telling me to stop with about 1 mile to go. Stoked. FERC 2:39:36 2:39:36 2:30:00 2:39:36 50.89

muimhneach Enjoyed the day as a whole. Good start and finish locations. Good route with a few inclines over roads and railways. Nice section through Elveston park from 18k to finish. I wished the water station with the gels could have made them more obvious though. By the time I realised they had some it was too lake (I don't like turning back) Energy drinks at 18k made up for it though and I was able to get to finish in one piece. Happy with time and obvious PB. As well as club record for the distance!!! Redcar RC 2:17:46 2:17:46 2:20:00 2:17:46 60.52

clare1976 Chuffed to bits with this! Ran 4m pre-race as warm-up and to total the run to 20m+! Aim was for 8:20mm ish which is my new PMP, but to see how it felt - no pressures, just a training run. Felt great, ran with Dad nearly all the way and having more or less stuck to plan for first 10m of the race or so, we sped up and did the last few at sub-8mm pace to finish in a massive neg split! First 13.1km 1:07:40-ish, Second was therefore 1:04:15 ish!!! Spa Striders RC 2:00:35 2:11:55 2:18:00 2:11:55 61.79
