Northern Exile A minute slower than last year, so am a bit disappointed. Miles 2 and 3 were the killers, just didn't perform ... perhaps could have trimmed 10 seconds off at the end too. Bugger. TooLilac Loved this race last year, and wrecked my road shoes on the slippy mud. Excellent race momento - hilly socks, one of my fav pairs ! and this year it's the day before my birthday AND I have trail shoes too. bring it on ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE: saw lots of lovely Fetchies, thanks espec to Lisrun & his family for calming my pre-race nerves! I paced it much much better this year and managed the enormous hill (at 3miles) at a steady pace. Felt like a good strong & steady run all the way round. Marshalls were great as usual.
