Boycie This should be an easy PB, as I haven't run a 10m for nearly 18 months - it is currently my oldest existing PB so easy money here!!! UPDATE: Out in lboro til 3.30am - not ideal preparation! Then the weather decides that we should have our only hot race of the year! Felt terrible for the first three miles and getting slower all the time 6.35, 6.36, 6.46 - but then ran every mile under 6.30 and somehow managed a 5.43 final mile - wowzers - second team counter today. Have found a new style of race prep!!! Unaffiliated 58:53 1:04:21 1:04:30 1:04:21 67.99
Broccers Definately an undulating course. Strangely still enjoyed it. Strugged miles 7 - 9 but then the end soon came. Would have liked 1:30 but there is always next time Barrow Runners 1:33:00 1:33:00 1:33:00 52.69

Deanomite Not sure about this one. I don't think I have put enough long runs in to my training.
I'm going to give it a good go!
UPDATE Tough race, undulating course and was quite warm. Great hat though! Hermitage Harriers RC 1:13:44 1:25:34 1:28:00 1:25:34 52.17
Fat Man Runs Nice easy PB here as well - it is my first 10 miler!

A bit too warm early on and definitely veering towards the 'hilly' side of undulating but I really enjoyed it - nice tobe back out running a decent distance.

Like the hat too! Unaffiliated 1:26:55 1:37:26 1:40:00 1:37:26 45.08

Rubberman New distance for me. Was warm and windy with a few rolling hills (about 10). Fantastic value for 6 quid ! A race and a goody bag with a nice woolly hat ! Hermitage Harriers RC 1:11:37 1:12:57 1:15:00 1:12:57 61.19

ThorntonRunner Hoping for a pb, but a bit of an unknown. Have been back in full training for a fortnight. If I were fully race fit, then would be looking for 67mins. Will start at 7m/mile, and see if I can sustain it. Not a safe bet!
UPDATE: Ran out of steam at 5 miles. Too hot, and clearly not as close to race fitness as I'd hoped. Sorry to all those who bet on me. Miles splits: 7:00, 7:08, 7:24, 7:14, 7:41, 8:00, 8:26, 8:37, 8:22, 6:41 Unaffiliated 1:07:16 1:07:16 1:10:00 1:16:33 62.54
