andy from embsay Far steadier at the start than weeks 1 and 2, partly down to standing too far back. However I gradually reeled in several clubmates by the turn and even overtook my nemesis, Tom from Valley Striders who's beaten me by 1 place in 3 out of my last 4 races on the uphill. managed to hold it together til the finish and kept Tom behind me for a 1 second PB! Dave W Exactly the same time as the last race. Exactly. To the second. Amazing or what. Still, means that they were both 2 minutes too slow, instead of just one of them. Unaffiliated 20:53 21:38 21:38 66.18

And if the smell from the waterworks doesn't get to you, there is always a lot of people doing the race, so always someone to pace off, or try to chase down.
