25 Entrants Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
_bod_ Significant PB again today by 1 min 24 secs. Good course, couple of interesting inclines, and a bit of wind at times. Thanks to all the betters, a record for me, 2250 credits were riding on that result. Glad to have delivered. I made a fortune on many of you folks also, some more than others. Couldn't get moving after the race for PB's, they were everywhere. Well done to the many fetchies, clubmates, and even workmates who all done very well tonight. Unaffiliated 17:37 17:48 17:48 73.33

Boab I don't often predict results, but I am sick of this pissy 5K PB, so all out attack on this one. :) UPDATE: Started ok, faded in the second half, over taken by a couple of 'fun runners in football strips'. Not my best effort. Unofficial time, didn't stop my watch but it was what the clock said going over the line so may change a little. Apologies to betters! Back to the drawing board. dd A PB by 4+ mins and a PB on last years event by 6 mins. So why am I not happy? Cos I am closer to under 30 mins than I thought I would be....roll on the next 5km! Well done to all the PB'ers tonight...some awesome times..Am wearing my *orange* t-shirt with pride ;) Unaffiliated 30:03 30:42 30:42 48.93
Edmondo Didn't feel up for this - never particularly like evening races when I've been at work all day. All seemed to go to plan though - first 2k probably a bit quick, slowed a bit over next 2 before picking up a bit for the final one. Kept a team-mate in sight all the way and that pulled me round. PB by 27 secs and only two people bet on me - one of whom was me! O ye of little faith.... Unaffiliated 17:52 17:52 17:52 75.13

Irontubs Not done a 5K since Christmas Santa dash, absolutely no idea of time for that one. Prediction based on half most recent 10K time.

rleyton Woo! A new PB. Watch time, but I'm getting distrustful of chip times so it'll do for me. That's 2.5 mins since November, and 30s (ish) since club's handicap 5k a fortnight ago. Pleased to have got pacing together too (Avg of 04:15, with a 10s variance with usual fast 1st 1k, and slower 3-4k). Very impressed to see fellow Bella John pile past me at an unbelievable rate in the last 100m stretch. A paced finish like that is something way beyond me still! SueW Running with my daughter in her first race. Sister run/walking too and hoping for sub 60. **Uodate we had a great time. Daughter was well chuffed with her first race. Unfortunately, sister had to pull out ill and is gutted. Daughter now wants to target a 10k. Good flat route for a race. Carnegie Harriers 25:10 25:10 30:00 27:55 56.79
Sunbed Athlete Got 12th place with this time.Didnt think i was in sub 16 shape with current form.
Very good field & course.Think i took 1st Vet.Will check results later on once there on website. Cambuslang Harriers, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 15:02 15:52 15:52 84.60
Ulric Awful, slower than even the slower 5k in last month's 10k. Went off slightly too quickly and breathing got out of shape, blew up then trailed in at jogging pace. Really tempted to drop out. Unaffiliated 19:22 23:11 23:11 61.30
