12 Entrants Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Banny Faws Springburn Harriers, Royal Mail Run GMC 35:56 37:14 38:51 86.22
El Del A good traffic free flat course, although a bit slippy underfoot at parts, and difficult to pass other athletes at certain sections due to narrow paths. KM makers were totally inaccurate and made pacing hard. Giffnock North AAC 34:59 35:21 36:15 78.26
ChrisU Had an OK run. Certainly better than last year. Cambuslang Harriers, Westerlands Cross Country Club, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 34:38 36:04 36:30 36:43 76.67
Alf Tupper Tough of the Track 2nd ever race and much better idea of how to pace myself. Felt strong throughout and loved the home leg from Lambhill. Cumbernauld AAC 34:52 37:19 38:47 70.52
ClaireT Victoria Park - City of Glasgow AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 38:11 39:50 43:19 70.03
Applecross UPDATE - official time so just scraped a PB. Felt pretty awful - closest I've come yet to vomiting at the end of a race, but course was quite nice, if a bit muddy, and weather perfect...pretty good all round, except for the running bit! Unaffiliated 44:31 44:31 50:00 44:44 67.81
ian9657 Glasgow South Running Club 41:35 44:58 45:30 44:58 65.70
shannon worked quite hard but almost ended up in the water van with my sprint finish. Garscube Harriers 38:35 38:35 41:36 64.22
BigMac9 Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 44:05 46:09 48:54 61.44
Hibeedeb Pirate Ship Of Fools 50:32 56:19 56:19 58.79
Debstir I don't know what my 'official' time was but 57:01 was on my watch (I started at the back!) and that's what I'm going with. Brilliant, relatively low key race and will return next year... Unaffiliated 48:30 50:33 58:00 57:01 53.26
ctsw2001 Didn't get an exact time, but know it was just over the 1 hour mark. Pretty pleased as I hadn't trained much for it and was just glad to get around it without stopping.

Was taken by surprise by the conditions, was cross-country at times. Unaffiliated 1:01:00 1:01:00 1:01:00 43.87
