biru Felt I had a good run, happy with the time and 4th position overall. Also happy with the 13 minute improvement on my first ever half marathon(and race) this time last year on Barra. Very favourable weather conditions on a nice scenic undulating course. Went off a bit slower than usual and managed to finish strong over the last few miles. Would definately do this one again. Nice to meet more fellow fetchies too:) Edinburgh Athletic Club 1:16:06 1:16:06 1:18:17 74.06
ChrisU Managed another Half Marathon PB. Finished 2nd overall and 1st V40. Fairly comfortable running temperature with light winds and drizzle. Good to meet Biru and Hannkies, who both had decent runs. Cambuslang Harriers, Westerlands Cross Country Club, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 1:16:45 1:16:45 1:17:17 79.24
connelld After doing East Kilbride, the week before and hating every minute of it, I've decided to have an easy week after having a better run, the following Tues night. Things didn't work out to plan and I found the undulating course was somehow too much for me. A lot of competitions, mainly half marathons had caught up on me and my debut for Kilmarnock harriers is not my finest moment. Still, a good course and one that I would do again. hannkies Bit better, 3rd quickest half time to date. Nice scenic course though not the easiest I've ever ran. Still a bit short of my best but definately getting there. Finished 1st Ayrshire athlete in the county Half Marathon Champs and also got a nice wee shield for finishing 3rd Senior Male. Along with Connell D and Mark finished 2nd team, so a decent day. Good to meet Biru and Chris U ( who both had excellent races ) for the first time. Finished 6th overall of 96. Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 1:15:52 1:18:39 1:19:55 73.87
