FaeryImp There I stood,in the 25min/club runner section, and I still had to overtake mums and children, walkers and slower peeps.I have no problem with any of these people, all should have a good chance to complete and reach their goals, but why do I have to be stuck behind or nearly land up someones botty.Something needs to be sorted as I thought it was quite easy to understand the times etc.My only complaint so sorry about that...would have set a PB today but heyho, another time. Blodwen I was supposed to walk this as I had done no training due to being injured for 9 months.... However I jogged the whole way very slowly with my friends who were walking! Felt really good to be doing something again & not too stiff the next day. :-) Unaffiliated 29:00 32:50 45:00 33.46
HotFeetJules OK shouldn't have run really, on antibiotics and recovering from shin splint, but great atmosphere as usual. Really enjoyed it. BRJ Run and Tri 33:42 33:42 33:42 43.76
Buzzards Sis Great race experience, started up at the front with the sub 25 min club runners. We were just behind the elites. Last year, I jogged very slowly further back. Last year was my first ever race and what a long way I've come Garmin showed a 3.14 miles at average 7.06 min miles. This was in the peak of mara training and with no taper so there is better to come. I felt great crossing the line as the commentator told the spectators that these runners are still strong club runners who have maintained this pace all along the course :-) I finished in the top 100 so get an official time and place. After finishing, I walked back to the start and jogged along to find Hope and Ellie to walk the second half of the course with them. Next year, we will all jog it together. TheBeetroot Enjoyed this despite a sore hamstring - managed a consistent pace despite lots of weaving and a good strong finish so I'm quite happy! This race always has a good atmosphere and the weather was perfect. Unaffiliated 31:02 33:20 32:00 33:20 47.03
SUPERWOMAN63 My 3rd time here again supporting the Breast Cancer Campaign BUT today is different l am the WINNER of the slogan competition ' EVERY STEP YOU TAKE , MAKES YOU A WINNER which meant that 30,000 banners had been printed and was inside the Hydro Active magazine for London Liverpool and Birmingham. My prize was VIP Hospitality before and after the race and l felt like a real star !!
Hyde Park is always busy and as l ran around the course l could see banners with my slogan on and l felt like a winner.

I love these medals they mark my achievements and reinforce the reasons why l started my jogging career at the grand age of 41. My husband, children and friends are proud of me, they often tell me, they always support me and l had great pleasure in sharing my VIP experience with them, we all had as much as we could eat and drink and the weather was sunny and bright. We met some lovely people at the VIP tent : Jonathan Edwards, Jo Brand, Kellie Shirly, Kate Reed, Fatima Whitbread Beverley Knight and others.

Today has been a fabulous day and l hope l am able to continue to be at Hyde Park and take part in this very special race for women. Unaffiliated 31:03 31:03 36:00 32:28 47.52
Kinsey I am going to 'enjoy' this as I have a baby on board and am just out to get the goodie bag! Hopefully I can jog round in about 36 minutes although it will all rather depend on how I feel on the day!
