Boycie Cool - a PB which is excellent. Temperature was cool, raining a bit, but nothing affected me too much... Struggled between miles 7 and 9, but managed to pick it up again towards the end. Greenman Wet & cloudy. Had to sit in the car for 10 mins to wait for the downpour to ease off. Ideal running weather once the race started though. I never felt particularly comfortable but was pleased to get through the congestion for a 6:20 first mile. Pleasantly surprised to see 1:24 on the finish clock as I turned into the home straight. Firestarter little outside my planned finish time, but struggled mid-race with calf pain, what a way to spend your birthday!! So not too bad. Rubberman PB for me. Enjoyed it despite the rain. Found the undulations messed up my consistancy, but a good day out. The family came along and were not so chuffed with the weather.
