Dis Never done a 10km with hills! the other 3 have all been on flat and the last was 2005....It was extremely hilly, but good race, brilliantly organised - congrats and thanks to the Hermitage Harriers! Unaffiliated 57:39 1:02:46 1:15:00 1:02:46 47.61
orbital sander 62 mins to beat. i think i can do it but i will check out the course first. *update* have seen the profile and it is a bit hilly but i prefer this to flat. not sure if i can go less than an hour but sure i can beat PB. didn't let you down on my last race did i? :-) *update* did it again. knocked 2 mins off. thanks for bets peeps :-) Unaffiliated 1:00:12 1:00:12 1:00:00 1:00:12 49.54
fraggle Last minute decision to enter this one - as the boys were at Donnington and I wanted to see the lovely Pix. Have had a month off training, so I'm pleased with my time on that tough course. Good to meet so many fetchies there too :o) Unaffiliated 54:10 54:10 1:01:02 50.60
Fat Man Runs Unbelievably hilly - but organisation amazing (as you would expect) huge well done to Harriers Unaffiliated 47:15 52:19 56:17 47.18
Andy_Leics Was incredibly well organised, with friendly marshalls offering lots of support and encouragement. Was disapointed with my actual time but considering I have been out of training with an injury and that the course was really hilly, it wasn't so bad I suppose. Love the goody bag with t-shirt, thanks! Unaffiliated 46:41 46:41 42:00 46:41 56.55
Beccals hot and hilly is how I will remember this one. Excellent organisation - thnak you! Pleased with time considering the hills. Unaffiliated 48:45 49:57 51:01 59.09
JulesO Blimey, never done 10k before, so this could be nasty. What have I let myself in for?

*Update* Great to have got that out of the way :) Seemed a really organised event, lots of support from Marshalls and even spectators on the route. Weather a little on the warm side, and ohh those hills!!, but good crowd of people. Top Day Out - Cheers to the organisers Unaffiliated 1:12:55 1:18:30 1:20:00 1:18:30 34.65
ThorntonRunner Have accepted I'm not race fit - just going to enjoy this one.
UPDATE: Pleased with that. To fit in with training for the Leicester Marathon I ran 7 miles (steadily!) immediately before the race to give me a 13+ mile long run, so given the hills and the sun that went well. Unaffiliated 39:47 40:56 45:00 44:58 64.44
firekat First 10km ever, so why did I choose one with hills?!

All done now. Hard work and lots of hills. Pleased with time, though it was going to take me much longer.
Excellent organisation and marshalls. (even if they did lie about the number of hills left)

Ness Current training makes me think I will be slow! Not pb potential. * UPDATE - Great run, although a bit warm and rather hilly. I enjoyed the scenery and a very well organised race. FERC 54:12 55:06 58:00 1:00:12 51.30

Ally2 Undecided whether to race or not. I'm racing and hope to improve on 38:11 on my last 10k. Didn't see that coming. A new PB by 7 seconds on a tough course, uphill to 5km and undulating thereon. Splits at 1K: 3:24, 3K 10:50 5k:18:15 8K:29:30 Final 2k in 7:11. Excellent organisation and marshalling Well done all. Came 8th. Notts AC, Hermitage Harriers RC 29:32 36:41 37:59 36:41 71.97
