Alfadan Woke up with a cold, sore throat and snotty - nice, ran anyway and suffered especially at the hill. Walked quite a bit (the shame), but finished within my prediction so not too bad. Real Buzz RC 1:41:57 1:49:38 1:50:00 1:49:38 52.89

Joe Hawk Have to see how my legs are after the weekend before.Legs seem fine canned the second mara so should be good for a fairly sizeable PB. I won't be tapering as I have decided I don't like them.
Legs felt heavy from halfway not good seeing as I still had to go up the hill. Datchet Dashers 1:27:34 1:28:59 1:25:00 1:30:54 63.78
Jonny Relatively happy with the time. Started off ok, but a bit too quickly then slowed gradually after 2 miles. Struggled up the hill and had to stretch out my calfs twice. Quads were still a bit sore from Clarendon last week and my right knee pain started up again after about 4-5 miles but was too much of a problem. Finished strongly over the last 3 miles overtaking a number of other runners which made me feel much better about the run. Enjoyed a nice latte at starbucks in the town on the way back to the car. Kew Just entered. Would like to do sub 1.50 - which would be a good time for me on this course - - - very pleased with this time, just ran out of steam a bit at the end. 6 mins faster than last year so its got to be good Reading Joggers 1:39:54 1:46:01 1:46:56 60.70
Konaboy Thoroughly enjoyed this race & loved the 'hill'. Aim was to run 1:45ish in prep for Abingdon. However, spied a number of RRR & Reading Joggers that are normal 'marks' in other races so pushed harder than planned. Also chatted to a couple of Triathletes over the last 3miles who were pushing for sub 1:40 so went with the flow. Good to see TMW at the end & Keefy spectating. manicstreetpounder I'm running my first marathon at Abingdon next week so this will be a training run. PB unlikely! UPDATE: Ah! Well I was supposed to be taking this easy but ended up deciding to live for the moment and went for it! Chip time 1:22:16. Felt pretty relaxed throughout, apart from being chased through Fawley Court by a black horse. I suspect I'm going to pay for this next Sunday - I'll worry about that later!! markp First time I've used a garmen to keep me on pace and it works. Normally I go off too quick and suffer mid-way but felt really good all the way through. Purple Patch Runners 1:30:31 1:30:31 1:40:00 1:30:31 64.24
