GD Right - that's it! Never going on a long pub-crawl the night before a race again. Well, not for a while, anyway. Had terrible stomach during the race, meaning I had to stop & walk a couple of times, losing in excess of 10 minutes in the process! Must be more sensible in the future! FERC 1:27:25 1:34:00 1:39:00 1:50:32 52.83
Ghengis Been feeling really down and rough for a few days with a dodgy stomach and so nearly pulled out when I got to Henley, but my running mate Peter persuaded me to have ago, it wasn't easy but I managed to finish and also recorded my fast time for this year so many thanks Peter. Pov I've seen that hill on the 2nd loop of this race!,no heroics,I'm saying 1.55'ish.........
Well...all went quite well.Like TMW waiting the chip time but it's a PB ! 1.46.35. got sandwiched abit in the early miles through the lanes but I think that help me by keeping the pace sensible. That hill knocks the split times for six, over 10mins for that, but alls well in the end, nicely organised and friendly marshalls.....Official time 1.46.33 463 / 1164 Unaffiliated 1:41:43 1:46:33 1:55:00 1:46:33 56.73
ReadingRob I actually wanted to do a bit quicker, but I guess the time isn't so bad. Very nice course, very steep hill!!! Position-wise don't know exactly but I think top hundred ****UPDATE***** Came 81st - results are now on the website Reading Roadrunners 1:23:11 1:27:49 1:29:59 1:29:32 65.21

SteveS I was a bit disappointed with time, go a really painful stich. Reading Roadrunners 1:32:55 1:36:39 1:41:10 57.71
Too Much Water Chip time. Had a good run eventually, though the first few miles were difficult. Very scenic along the Thames Path and up the other side by Fawley. Hill was a killer but powered off it and didn't look back to score a 2 minute PB from 3 weeks ago, on a comparable course to Windsor. Unaffiliated 1:29:00 1:51:58 1:51:58 52.14
