runForestfanrun Turned up late, ran from the car park and eventually found the start line 9 minutes after everyone else had departed. Completely burnt myself out in the first 2 miles trying to catch the back markers up. I was only overtaken by one person (that was the race leader who'd got 1/2 a mile to go and I'd only just passed 5 miles!) Official time was 1:43:17. Boy was it HOT! What a fabulous goodie bag and the glass memento is fantastic. All the marshalls were wonderful - encouraging and friendly, well done. It would have been a thoroughly enjoyable race had I been a bit more punctual. I will be back next year and I'll be getting there early UKnetrunner 1:18:34 1:18:34 1:34:09 47.39
