Little Nemo Hilly route but Greenwich sessions paid off. Took it steady uphill and made up a lot of ground by flying down the downhills. Managed a sub-9:00 min. mile on one of them which is fast for me. Paying for it now though as I have one slightly dodgy toenail and v. heavy legs. Shufflepuck Café I was one of the unlucky few whose chip times were not recorded, for some reason. But I think my actual race time was pretty much 1:33 spot on. For future reference: The two days before this race, I drank less alcohol and more water. The night before, I went out to eat and had a huge dinner of BBQ spare ribs and chips.
