Vindicator Closed entry - HRC members championship 5K. First ever 5K race and this is going to hurt! YES IT DID! The course runs along where we do our 1200M speed sessions, so I should not have gone off so fast down the hill as there is a nasty up hill the other side. Dug in through the town park, but after another climb was pretty dead for the turnaround point. Slowed a bit here for the 1st down hill, then stretched out. The final climb back up the hill was murder. Nothing for any spront whatsoever as the slope went to a 20 yard downhill. Pleased with time and hope to improve on a flatter course.
