Jigs Very cold, windy and wet with puddles up to your bits that freeze your calves and feet so much, it makes running very difficult even when you've left them! Much, much muddier than last year. Great fun running with LL, though :) No PB. Unaffiliated 1:11:20 1:12:16

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) First time I have done this race and it was really good fun, so glad that Jigs ran this with me :) [I didn't expect him to fall for me again though! see Funkin's pics] we got off to a good start, tried to get past as many runners as possible in the first couple of miles so as not to get too caught up when we got to the puddles, some of which were quite deep, camaflouge nets were easy for me as the guys in front both times were quite tall and I followed through where they had lifted the nets, at the first one I made a rather risky decision of tucking myself under his arm, thankgoodness he was not sweaty!! lol. The last 3 puddles caught me out, I thought we had been through them all! I got cramp in my calf muscles at this section, still pleased with my finish time, although if it had been 8 miles as listed I would have finished in 1.04.15, having said that I was first in my category, but prizes were for the first 5 male / female finishers. Although the weather was beastly before the start it wasn't so bad once we set off and cleared up nicely towards the end. Unaffiliated 1:13:53 1:13:53 1:13:53 61.61
