Sime Struggling with an achillies injury at the moment so not expecting a quick time. Managed a far quicket time than i was expecting, course was good although the hill up to penarth was quite long, good conditions helped as well. Achillies wasn't too bad. Hev My slowest 10K for ages!!!!!!!!!!! What excuses can I give? It was a slow tight start for the first 1.5k's...suprisingly hot..I had been walking round Pembrokeshire the 2 days before!! Apart from that I was very pleased to take part in the first GWR. Plus it was my first race on home soil. Well organised and a nice atmosphere.
