niall.bristow Exciting day. All 4 of us jogged down from the flat. Met Stewart, Jim and Michael before the start. Tough opening k but then settled down. Bobby never in sight but worked hard to keep Arlene fairly close. Started to feel pace 6 - 8 k, this is where a few went past but held it together for the finish. Planned to push at 9 but missed the marker and before I knew it was in the finishing straight. Bobby 6th (3rd junior) in 34:59, Arlene 59 (6th lady, 1st v40 female) in 38:41, me 64 (4th v45) and Katie 85 (9th lady, 3rd junior female) in 40:00.
