Gasheader have not half marathed for 4 years, sure i can improve on pb if get the training in. Well never got to train for 10 days before race, could not have gone much better. hung on to the 7mm pacer till mile 10 . lost nail and concentration at 10 miles never managed to regain 7mm group but still got to 13m in 1:32:15 finished in 1:33:05 with very poorly toe. IM2010 Bit of a disaster. Too close to front and set off far too quick. Was a struggle from about mile 5 & close to walking pace over last 3. Pllumby Great North West Half Marathon. Destroyed my PB by nearly 10 minutes!!! Ran round with the RW 8mm pacer for 12 miles but then said my goodbyes and pushed for the finish. Felt great! Updated with official time. 433/1194 Unaffiliated 1:43:14 1:43:14 1:50:00 1:43:14 57.92

SeasiderSue Disapointed with the time. This is partly due to a tiring week at work ,two extra shifts of 6 hours on my feet with no break took its toll.
