AlanO Somehow managed to sneak into the Celeb start and got to the front line. Probably blew the race in the 1st mile running it in 5.35. On for a massive PB up to 9miles when the wheels fell off. Ehlne This race was comfortable for me. My official time was 2 hours 11 minutes something, but my own time was a few seconds under 2 hours! I was very pleased with this, my first half marathon. My next one will be a smaller event with room to breathe. The GNR is definitely an experience with novelty value only - there is a lot of pushing and shoving!
