Mr G - #thatrunguy What can I say apart from well chuffed with the whole weekend. Really pleased to go under 1hr 29, really proud of Mrs Chin for completing another challenge in very warm conditions and now really pleased to be back home. Its a great weekend but boy oh boy its a long way to go for a trot lol. Kept a good pace throughout and felt pretty strong through all the inclines. CottamRunner Started at PB pace, quickly realised that wasn't happening and then a sub 1.30 also slipped by. Overheated early on but recovered ok in the end. Deeman A great day out. Really crowded during the run, but the crowds were fantastic. Bit of a problem getting out of South Shields but the metro queues moved quickly. It is a race that I will return to. Well done to the stewards and volunteers on the day. If you are looking for a decent challenge, this is the run for you! Very hot this year. Nicky27 Io was my first time doing the gnr and I can say from some of the comments that were made I have a reason to be annoyed as it seemed there were a lot more people crammed in to the early white pens and people brought forward from green and pink so people could run together!! Then ended up walking in the first half mile!
