Big Al Widepants Good hard run although I would have liked to be closer to the pb than I was. Still it's a course record and much earlier in the season than last year. Managed a sprint finish in front of the supportive family. Respect to me. Unaffiliated 43:35 45:51 44:53 45:51 61.67

Dave_K 1st race this year, but have been training well. Hope to pb.
**Update** New pb !! Really pleased as not raced since Moray last Sep. Really well organised event. Was good to finally meet Ellem. Saw lots of other Fetch tops around as well. Thanks to all who took a gamble on me. Enjoy the points ! Unaffiliated 45:32 45:32 47:00 46:37 59.70
Dvorak Pros: flat and local. Cons: It is in Grangemouth. It smells. *Update* Good run in almost ideal condtions. Caught up with Bungee about halfway and ran rest together. Hadn't thought of this as conversational pace before! Ran almost exactly even pace throughout. Finished feeling fresher than after any previous race. Met a few other Fetchies (Phantom, _andy, Gus, SoaPM. LorraineS, IanS and Magoo). Unaffiliated 48:39 52:39 56:00 55:47 50.29
Tigerlily Hey!!!! I even managed a wee sprint finish! Took 13 minutes off my last 10k time and I am over the moon. Slowed to a walk at 6k for 2 puffs of the inhaler and again at 8k. Legs like jelly but feel great. Daftie Sheena didn't take water round with her (she thought there would have been a water station en route) but I'm still alive and back home in Dundee. Baza Watch time - Good run, legs felt tired and heavy at the start after Carnethy 5 the previous day. Started steady and the splits slowed till half way but then I picked up again in the second half. Good to see a big Fetch turn out. I've got a couple of pictures that I'll post later. Well done everyone. Carnegie Harriers 36:28 36:52 38:55 67.94

Ticketyboo Woo hoo new PB. Very happy with my run today knocking just over a minute off my PB. Chased all the way by a club mate which helped ensure that I kept pushing the pace all the way to the end. Ellem Official time 54:00 7th in class

Reasonably happy with that - not done much racing recently, and the best bit my legs don't hurt - yet!

Great to meet Phantom, Big Al, Bungee, Bedshaped, Gillian, LorraineS and IanS Gus and others :-) but missed seeing Tigger :-(

Very nice day out - love the stadium finish. East Lothian Triathlon Club 49:56 53:58 54:00 62.38
Son of a Pronator Man Feck me, there's a lot of Fetchies in for this ! I will be making a serious effort on this fast flat course, weather permitting. This race seems to be a lot earlier this year so the heatwave we had last time seems unlikely, even allowing for climate change.* Update* a PB by 1 second :) That sub 40 seems a long way off but I'm still mighty pleased with this. awatson2 im hoping the flat course will get me a good time.

Tizer First sub 40 10k. Its flat and fast so as long as it's not as hot as it was last year this should be the one. Update - It's not official but that's what my watch said....quality. Further update - It was 39:55 official so cracked the sub 40 and was also 1 sec better than my watch time. lovin it! Falkirk Victoria Harriers 35:16 39:55 39:45 39:55 66.52

senga the trolly dolly Another first, my first ever 10k. Never run this far so will have to step up my training, very quickly!

Training a wee bit erratic , with a difficult series of trips, and really poor weather in the States.

Great race , ideal weather and I was much faster than I expected, unnofficial time 48m 52ish.

Got my official chip time - stunned
I am a little surprised that there was no difference twixt my 'Gun Time' and my 'Chip Time@ at the Grangemouth 10k.
I started some 50 yds back from the Race Stat line / Chip Mat, and had to shuffle forward along with the numerous runners in front of me.
There was absolutedly no way both the times given were the same. Is there a problem with the technology or was there a 'time warp'!!

After contacting Interloq my chip time amended by 23 secs!!! Fife AC 47:22 47:22 1:00:00 48:27 68.02

Russell M New PB and first sub-40 10k! Unofficial time but chip time should be pretty close. Had been hoping to get under 40 but started having my doubts at about half-way. The last 2k was a killer, seeing everyone nearly finished and knowing that you've still got a way to go. Great race though and very well organised :) Motherwell AC 39:46 39:46 41:00 39:46 66.39
