Blister Well, can't really complain since I did a 10K race on Friday and it was SO HOT, about 29 degrees towards the end, and my race splits really show that. The first half was 47:27 and the second was 62:28! I had to walk from about 8 miles to 10, and then ran the rest. So I was surprised when I won a prize for first runner under 21! The race itself is very well organised, only £7 to enter or £8 on the day and you get a T-shirt, plus some snacks at the end. There were 6 water stations and 3 sponge stations, not bad for a small half of about 300 runners! If it wasn't for the VERY HOT second half I would have probably run a close to PB run and had a great day, not that I didn't but the second half was really hard. But at the end of the day it was just a training run. Finished 136 out of 275. TeamBath AC, Somer AC, Walton AC 1:23:57 1:29:20 1:50:00 1:49:54 52.75
