No.8 ™ 6th overall, first scorer for winning men's team and 1st in the 10m club champs. Picked up a 4th place category prize as well, a box of tumblers from John Lewis! Happy with the placing and ran a negative split by over a minute, but disappointed with the time, plenty of endurance but lacking leg speed, although the course was very twisty, lots of subways and very slippery in places. Hills of Death (HOD) Another Club Champs Race - Went ok considering circumstances getting back a bit of form. Quite a flat course really. Scenery wasn't up to much but an improvement on last week. Highlight of the day passing Katie B second highlight she passed me you do the maths ! Thought I was on for a PB but miscalculated. Saw NO8* he had a good run won a couple of prizes too. Even splits 39.08 39.02 how about that :) Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 1:12:57 1:18:10 1:19:00 1:18:10 57.11

Vitalstatistix ...maybe sub-60...if my body holds out...

...well that was interesting...better than I'd predicted but not a good race at all for a number of well-worn excuses...also, corner-cutting was the preferred option of most, so I suspect most times are a bit optimistic...I recorded 9.87 miles on my 405 which is usually pretty reliable...

...well done to No.8, who might have to rename himself No.1 soon... Bedford Harriers AC 56:45 56:45 1:00:00 58:56 76.74

GrahH Hmmm - might have over done the training.. legs ache a bit so taking it steady this week.. anything sub 1:25 would be good now...(sorry - put this in the wrong place first)

FurryH Training been a bit rubbish with either shins or calves of right leg giving me jip. Will give it ok but the time may be a tad optomistic as the moment!.

Recieved confirmation of entry yesterday by email. Have to pick up number and chip on the day.

In short it hurt. From mile 5 got this large pain across shoulder blades. Which I still have this eveening. Think I must have been was staring at the floor and hunching.
