Duncs Didn't feel too good before and didn't warm up either. Decided I was just going to run and see how I felt. Did first km in slightly over 4 and thought 90% I could have got my PB. Hope I can recover for Reading next week." title="Didn't feel too good before and didn't warm up either. Decided I was just going to run and see how I felt. Did first km in slightly over 4 and thought "why not try and keep this up". My HR was too high for what I was doing and once I hit the few small hill between 3k and 6k I really struggled. Hit 5km in 21.17 but really struggled from then on. I even had to walk for a short period about 7.5km and that's a first for my in a 10km. Pleased to get so close to my PB but frustrated that if I'd been 100% or even >90% I could have got my PB. Hope I can recover for Reading next week."/> 100 Marathon Club, Highland Hill Runners 43:16 43:16 48:00 43:53 61.59
johntz Aftet my awful run atthe Wokingham half, I decided to run a slightly more familiar distance, 10k. Started at the rear of the field -- the start was a pretty narrow strip of land to the side of Frimley Park Hospital -- with the sole aim to break my last 10k time which was 49'01 Sandhurst Joggers, Southern Navigators 39:57 41:55 47:12 57.63
