Hyperlite Good race, slightly undulating. Splits were… 1K – 3:39 2K - 3:37 3K - 3:47 4K - 5:13 - I know there was a hill between 3-4K but this marker must have been out 5K - 2:13 – yes it was! 6K - 3:57 7K - 3:43 8K - 3:57 9K - 3:13 – I think this mark was also out? 10K - 4:19 Time 37:42 (a new PB!) fetcheveryone First 10K of the year, and hopefully I can get the sub-50 out of the way. Interval training has been going well - given another month I hope to be faster still.... well, the race is now done, and I'm very very pleased with the outcome. Thanks to everyone who's been very supportive as I've inched nearer to the target. Wanted a pee *all* the way round... so I think I could have gone faster still had I been able to concentrate, but perhaps that thought helped mask any thoughts I may have had of slowing down. Some hills on the course, but the downhills always came straight after, and always seemed to be longer, which was very pleasing. Will do this again! FERC 44:00 47:19 49:59 48:01 54.98

topcorner My first 10k! Tired at first but then woke up a bit - nasty hill around 3k. I think one of the distance markers (4k I think) was way off. This threw me a bit, thought I'd slowed up a lot without realising! Felt great finishing. Had a ball. Saw Fetch at the end too, nice guy... Sandhurst Joggers 50:50 52:55 59:59 52:55 49.89
