DJ Bangey I think the heat must of got to me as I ran out of steam the last couple of miles. Thank god for the sponges though they were a life saver. Nice course especially running around the village green with the cricket match going on. But the long straight home seemed go drag on a bit. Just missed out on a PB by 7 secs, but I did measure the course 13.16 miles. Kendal AC 1:17:44 1:21:35 1:21:00 1:21:35 71.70

smoke free Assuming knee and hamstring and rest of aging old body allows then going for sub 1.40 UPDATE - actually was on course for 1.35ish until 10 miles then the heat and my unrealistic pace took it's toll. really pleased though Unaffiliated 1:23:36 1:36:01 1:40:00 1:37:48 62.62
Whoever Ran fairly well for 12km then realised that PB was out of reach and breathing still not right with slight lung infection from last week's cold...... so gave up and jogged in on a fabulous sunny day. Brilliant event, very well organised. First rate. Northern Veterans AC 1:26:43 1:33:35 1:40:00 1:37:58 65.75

Keefley Hot hot hot! Was running at target 1:50 pace for the first 7 miles then the wheels fell off. Barely managed to drag myself to the finish with nothing left. Great support from the locals though. Unaffiliated 1:43:44 1:58:51 1:50:00 2:07:25 47.28
