Killerkane I will be running until my heart explodes for this one!!!!! Latest update been out of it for a week with a nasty cold but will be better for race.... come ON ! After a good start, chaos, and i just couldn't maintain the speed. There are loads of excuses, work, cold, tired but at the end of the day on the day i guess i just wasn't up to it. Training has been going really well (i have ran 6mile interval sessions on hilly courses quicker than this race !!!!!) but racing is carp at the moment. V Disappointed. I am very sorry if you bet on me :(. Hi to the other fetchites (Tarange and Flanker) who performed a lot better than me and see you at the next one. Unaffiliated 47:53 53:19 47:00 53:19 49.59

paulhalford I have never known a race where the markers were so inaccurate (more moanings on this reserved for my blog). I think the fact that no one else has mentioned this and some have said they thought they slowed over the last few kilometres shows just how significant inaccurate markers are for some. If you're a good judge of pace, it's mildly annoying, but for others, it can screw up your race totally. Aside from that, a bit windy but, even with perfect conditions, I still wouldn't have broken the 34-minute barrier I have long sought. 12th place. Werrington Joggers 32:37 34:31 33:59 34:31 76.74
