Fastest_Dave Not sure on how I will do as have just had a very nice week off with a bit of swimming, would advise against betting but you never know what rest might do! Harrow AC 1:13:13 1:13:13 1:13:29 1:13:13 79.18

Tiddly B A PB and a strong run with even splits the whole way - just thought it was a bit quicker as the old Garmin measured it at 13.29m. Still think I have more to come when I taper properly...... Ranelagh Harriers 1:18:07 1:18:07 1:19:59 1:18:07 74.63

PeteFastFeet I want to get inside 90 mins this year. This will be my first attempt. I think the course looks flat so it may be the one (no promises)

eMpTy Ran 10 miles with the RW pacer at 8mm pace, felt really comfortable and at a really good HR. Last 3+ miles picked pace up with miles at 7.15, 7.07, 7.00 and the 0.1 at 6.18 pace. So really good pre marathon paced run. Denmead Striders 1:31:57 1:31:57 1:44:00 1:42:00 64.26

Tappers un offical time but as its chipped it should be close. my Garmin said 13.33 miles and it was tough. With no training for this distance it showed in the last few miles, where I had been around 7mm they started to slip and there was nothing I could do about it. Still a pb's a pb. Walton AC 1:34:22 1:34:22 1:34:00 1:34:22 63.36
Deenzy Late entry for this one. Will try to keep to steady 7.30 m/m and then hopefully go for a strong finish. If I do I should knock a little bit off my last effort.
UPDATE
Just back chuffed to bits knocked another 3 mins off my PB! Great race this one, well organised, great marshalling and support on route. Shame about the weather but it did ease off just as the race started and did not really rain agian until I finished so happy days. Left Foot About a minute slower than recent halves but not bad considering 20 mile race last Sunday; and bad weather. I was flirting with another sub 1:40 but I think I slowed in the last two miles, which seemed to go on forever, and you couldn't see the finish coming up so I never got that motivation to go for it. Not dire, though. Nice crowd support, too. UKnetrunner, Veterans Athletic Club 1:39:00 1:39:41 1:40:24 66.77

Um Bongo Wasn't aiming for PB as heavy milleage and sole goal of good marathon more important at this stage. Aimed for about 1:45. Didn't look at watch much just ran how I felt. Slow start meant I left too much to catch up on at end (enjoy negative splits) so just outside 1:45. Sandhurst Joggers, Windle Valley Runners 1:42:48 1:45:19 1:49:00 1:45:19 60.12

5hep The baby hasn't appived yet so I was able to run but had a disasterous start - arrived at 10.00am to get a good massage but it was a bit wet and muddy and no signs so by the time I got 'rubbed' and sorted, the queue for the start was huge and didn't move!! Loads of us heard the start from where we were in the woods and I missed the pace group but still managed to crack on for a new PB!! Farnham Runners 1:47:51 1:47:51 1:48:00 1:47:51 56.32

blue (pete) May as well go for it after a promising Wokingham at 1.53ish (where I thought I wouldn't break 2hrs) and a tough Reading (2.09) perhaps I'll be in the right frame of mind. Crosses fingers for clear sunny day - but not hot. Unaffiliated 1:49:12 1:53:03 1:55:00 1:53:03 54.17

mydadcanrunlikeacheetah First ever 1/2 Marathon. Found it well organised, although the start was a bit of a mess. People on route gave plenty of encouragement as did fellow runners. Plenty of military runners. Enjoyed the run, but not the foul weather. Stragglers 2:13:12 2:13:12 2:30:00 2:13:12 47.95
