Hollywoof! Why not?

Race splits (half from Garmin, half from markers):

7:29
7:31 included a horrid railway footbridge
7:25 onto the river route now
7:35
7:35 looking for kingfishers, none found all day
somewhere between 6:12 (bad Garmin) and 8:14 (bad mile marker)
7:27
7:34
7:31 onto a twisty loop of small paths in the Lea Country Park now - some problems with dogs
7:34
7:51 left ankle has started hurting - leftover from Clarendon
7:24
7:45 half mara was somewhere about 1:38 - my fastest half this year!
7:31
7:41 start of a very long stretch of river here? Some headwind but nowhere near as strong or cold as it has been in the last few days
7:31
7:45
7:44 lost time on these miles as I had my Garmin on Avg Pace rather than Lap Pace
7:53 perked up by the sight of pirates DTS and Hannabelle marshalling
7:59 lost time on these miles due to feeling knackered
8:13 legs have started to seize...
7:55 work out the time splits needed and thinking of Mr Minutes and School Runner
8:02 1 or 2 people overtake me - this is different to my recent maras...
8:07 quads tired, body tired, maintaining this pace is an effort
8:12 onto the big Hackney Marsh playing fields now - running round the footie pitches - there's a superbly cheerful marshall on the bridge here.
4:03 to the finish, but passed by two more people and couldn't respond...

So... the finish line time is... 3:17:48

Definitely a PB, but I'm not sure it counts as sub-200... talking to Nokka after the race we both measured it (with normal GPS caveats) at maybe half a mile short...

Pleased with the new PB, happy to have done a marathon where I've hurt a bit more - not annoyed that I did postive splits (would probably have been 1:38, 1:44?) - at least it shows I tried...

I've entered this into the list as 3:21:40 to adjust for the dodgy length.... Unaffiliated 3:21:40 3:21:40 3:21:40 60.61

tramps Excellent trail race along the Lee Valley. Great organisation for a very good cause. Met the inspirational Fetch cover girl (PH) just before the start. Not sure if I'll run the Four2Go, but I'm pleased that I did this one. Saffron Striders RC 3:27:25 3:41:17 4:00:00 3:41:17 56.27
Ultra Kanga Kazzaaaaah!! Don't bet on me!!!!

Don't ask why I've entered a marathon so soon after Beachy. This will be only my second 20+ mile run since FLM! Hippo and Tracey have a lot to answer for! 100 Marathon Club 4:06:30 4:14:07 4:14:07 55.60
