phatbear Training for FLM. First time completed 20 miles really pleased.Convinced that I did it in just under 3 hrs as was towards the back. Nice atmosphere quite liked the lap nature of course- by lap 4 was getting to know the area quite well. Lovely home baked cakes and cheese roll afterwards in the clubhouse . Just as well as traffic at the exit of lido car park was completely stationary. Beautiful weather prompted the world and wife to have a day out. trigger74 Loved the first half, two laps of 34 mins but fell apart in second 36 followed by 38. just had nothing left towards the end, not sure why poss- over training, the warm day, the difficult psychological fact of running laps especially when you badly lose time.
