Yellow Fang This was a 20 mile four lap race near Ruislip. I travelled up with fellow Reading Roadrunners, Saba and Andrea. It was fairly hard because of the wind and all the undulations. I tried to keep up seven minutes miles, which I managed, just about. My legs felt a bit leaden. In the second lap I tried to speed up a bit to avoid listening to someone's conversation and kept it up for another two laps, but started to tire in the last lap. I was fairly pleased there wasn't another because I think I would have bonked. I liked Finchley's club house. I had a beer there afterwards, while watching the video of the race. It was a good medal too. Reading Roadrunners 2:17:07 2:17:07 2:20:00 2:20:21 66.54
Jock Itch First 20 mile race. Through 10M in 1:14:01 so ran 2nd half quicker. Very windy in places and undulating to say the very least. Legs feelin tired at about 18.5 but ran 10miles yesterday at pace so not too worried. Great workout. FERC 2:04:13 2:25:14 2:27:00 2:25:14 63.60

BigChiefRunningBore Hooray beat prediction, had to hold on in last lap as wind added to the pain caused by my foolish 10 mile 1:12. At the end was kept going by counting people I was lapping. I have a dark side as that was once me. Big hello to chaps who all forgot Mother's Day but were reminded by flower seller at start of lap. Um Bongo My marathon schedule said to do 20m in 3:10 but just couldn't go that slow. Kept just under 9mm for 3 laps and then just sped up a little in the last 5 miles -last mile in 7 mins. I enjoyed the event as I did last year and felt strong all the way! Sandhurst Joggers, Windle Valley Runners 2:53:46 2:53:46 3:10:00 2:53:46 56.81
Jonny Will be taking it very easy. Not run much during the last 6 months due to injury.

Very pleased with this run. Took it very easy early on & just kept going at around 8.30m/mile. Didn't walk at any point & had quite a lot left at the finish to wind it up. Unaffiliated 2:31:54 2:49:39 3:20:00 2:49:39 53.75
