Vindicator Crap run. Been ill over Christmas (excuses) and still not fully 'right' with HR+10BPM on yesterdays run (more excuses). Set off according to race plan of 1st KM 20 seconds above pace (downhill) then keep 4 min/Km as long as possible. Running in to the wind bit in to my chesty lungs after the first Km and was never the same. HR ~186 when running 4.15 - something not right, so slowed. KinkyS caught me on the final run in to the line but I did the gentlemanly thing and allowed her a free run in, especially as she said she was on for a PB at that point. (I have to admit that the thought of outsprinting her did go through my mid when I saw her on my shoulder...) Harlow RC 40:21 40:21 42:58 62.26
