Buzzards Sis Don't bet on this. This is XC and my 5M PB is pretty recent and on road - it will not be beaten today! *UPDATE - By far my best XC performance so far. Almost 10 minutes off this course last year and down from an ave just above 10 min miles for XC last season to 8 min miles today. Course was a bit long at 5.25. I just managed to catch and beat a girl today who often wins our age category at races and someone I was aiming to reach in standard at the club. A great start to the XC season. I will work towards building on this now. I did really struggle with my asthma today though. There is no respite in the undulation on this course and I could not settle into the rythmn that settles my breathing. At one stage my finger nails were blue.
