cake muncher Some of the guys ahead of me went off the course so I ended up 10th & 3rd vet. Falkland Trail Runners 32:46 35:35 36:39 75.34
Fat Boy Finished 9th overall and 3rd counting member of the winning men's team. All the times were much slower this year due to torrential rain making the trail sections of this out and back course a mudbath. At 8.5K I had the misfortune of going the wrong way which cost me about 40 seconds but nevertheless I was quite pleased with my run and overall position. Carnegie Harriers 31:07 34:43 36:34 73.92
Plussing As Which Pleased to get under 42 mins for the first time in tough conditions. Hard last couple of km due to conditions underfoot and wish I'd been a bit stronger. 4th lady and part of 1st team. Unaffiliated 38:14 41:57 41:57 71.62

Enigma Very heavy rain just before the race made conditions more than a tad slippy. I still managed a good PB whth about 1min20 secs taken off of previous best. Great fun. Unaffiliated 40:36 44:45 44:45 59.34

Debstir Got to Anstruther not knowing whether I was going to run or not (visiting Paranoid City with 1st ever marathon a week away) as I knew the farm track would be really slippery - I wasn't wrong there! Managed to stay upright and not hurt anything, and had quite a good run even though the last km was a struggle. Had secretly hoped for a sub-50min today but wasn't going to happen. Got 2 sub 8 min/miles according to my Garmin which is good going for me. But then again, it measured the course at 6.42m so I'm not so sure... Unaffiliated 48:30 50:33 51:28 58.21
PentlandPounder How wet was that. More of a swim than a run in bits. Good fish supper from the anstruther chippy afterwards thoughr Unaffiliated 45:10 45:36 48:28 57.42
