toepointer I have never felt so tired in a cross country as this.  Cross country really finds you out if you lack leg strength!  No wonder its so good for strengthening ligaments, joints and tendons.  First lap not too bad but got really really tired on the second lap and felt like I was dying from tiredness.  Achilles ached all the way round, but in a good way, as if its just unfamiliar from being used.  Was absolutely fine afterwards, in fact it feels great now.  It just has no real strength.  My worst result ever in an east district xc league, but still feeling quite stoical.  Its just nice to have a fully functioning achilles again.  Surely I am bound to start improving soon?  30s faster than last year but I doubt a lot of these xc courses are comparable as my finishing position was a lot lower.
