Crash Hamster Dog's breakfast of a run; nutrtion went well; HR was all over the place; hips hurt all the way round; ran the whole thing and dipped in under 10 min miling...not sure what to feel about the performance, but enjoyed the day.

Blimey, isn't Hipps looking svelte these days? :o) Pirate Ship Of Fools 5:48:08 5:48:08 5:48:08 52.40

That's me running that is ;)

**UPDATE**
DNF :) It was inevitable, but we entered on a whim, decided that we'd keep going until the completely untrained bodies had had enough, and then stop before we did any damage.
So we had a MARVELLOUS 21 mile Long Run - in company, in perfect running weather, then we retired to bat for the Support Crew!
Met a whole bunch of new people, which was brilliant, and a whole load of people we already knew!
All in all - a FANTASTIC day
And some SUPERB performances too :):) Cumberland AC

Gobi Year 4 and looking for more than last year. Elb tunnel will be a pacing exercise and if all goes well I shall report my master plan at the end of January. Master plan, 2.45-2.50 at marathon and just keep going. Tough but doable and worst case will still be a PB :~)

Ok the good stuff. I got the PB, on route it was my second fastest 50km and 3rd fastest marathon. I will blog a full blown report but surfice to say Colds/Flu and FOOD POISONING are not good for ultra distance running. Cannock & Stafford AC 4:06:33 4:06:33 3:50:00 4:06:33 71.55
