DanielDodson Uncomfortable because of the rain but this didn't affect performance. My name's missing from the provisional results so I'm waiting for final results to come in. I think it was something like 41.08 because I just managed to overtake someone who had this time. Unaffiliated 43:20 43:20 42:00
JEJ Through half way in 16:31, but couldn't maintain the tempo on the day, cruising rather than pushing the second half. Unaffiliated 31:52 32:04 33:00 33:40 78.42

wizlyn Sorry anyone who bet on me! Tried my best, but it was a filthy day (although ideal temp and not too bad wind) and just didn't happen. Actually reasonably pleased with this in the circumstances - 7th overall and within 5s of my PB - been a bit of a rollercoaster few weeks for me after my collapse with heat exhaustion and emergency oxygen at the Welsh Castles a couple of weeks ago...

Took a lot out of me in hindsight, so good now to return to normal racing, and enjoy a pretty controlled outing. Feel like I should be looking for something in a couple of weeks time when I'm really recovered properly, though!! Serpentine RC 38:01 38:14 39:09 75.97
MattTheRat I'll try for a PB on this flat course, depending on wind and weather. ** UPDATE** 7 days without a run at Glastonbury building a beer/cider belly and then 10 hours stuck in the muddy car park getting out means that I might not be in top form - or it might just be a good taper! **RESULT** A nice shiny PB albeit by only 9 seconds in a very wet race! Cheeky Chappy Really enjoyed this run but struggled at times. Wish I'd done a little more speedwork but a sub-45 and a PB!! Got to be a good day! Woking AC 40:25 42:37 43:59 42:37 63.83
BigEvilC got to be a PB after hilly Darent 45.26 injuries and glasto experiences permitting! Update : still hoping for another PB (after tunnel 10 k) so adjusted down a bit despite probable lack of training for 2 weeks. Pretty rainy and pretty hard after no training but pretty close to prediction and a PB for all you betters out there! Kent AC 40:47 42:35 43:59 44:00 63.76

SuperTed Definitely a pb as never done a 10k before Unaffiliated 43:03 44:34 45:00 45:19 59.03
MadRobby Too many late nights on the beer in recent weeks made me a little below par for this one. Realised at 8km that I was not going to beat my PB so eased off a little. A very well organised event that I'll definitely be doing again. Unaffiliated 42:27 43:33 45:00 45:51 58.34
Geoff B Unaffiliated 40:32 44:15 46:15 57.08
Um Bongo No PB expected at this one as I will still be recovering from ultra the weekend before. If I get round I will be lucky! Sandhurst Joggers, Windle Valley Runners 43:30 46:11 47:19 60.74
Heavyweight If weather is reasonable this should be close to a dead cert PB. ** Forecast is for heavy rain --- so everything is looking good!! ***** It was marvellously moist, wonderfully windless, PB perfection. Started a bit quick but hung on to deliver PB - but I know there is better to come. Quietly pleased. UKnetrunner 44:39 48:02 47:30 48:02 59.35
monki (Watch time - official time 48.26) Ran considerably better than expected and generally pleased that it's faster than previous race on same course earlier in the year. However, it was a PB opportunity gone begging and I've paid a bit for taking my foot off the pedal the last three weeks. Well, I say off the pedal. I mean stewed in lovely, lovely booze and ooh, yes, I will have some more cheese. Anyhoo. Good times ahead. Unaffiliated 42:52 45:43 49:56 48:02 55.47
SallyScott PB. Very rainy! Reading Joggers 48:13 48:13 48:13 61.63
keets Hope its not hot. - Not hot, ideal running weather, really enjoyed the run and the 5k time was good, but finished outside my pb. Race time listed as I had a divvy attack after crossing the line. Unaffiliated 44:01 46:52 50:00 48:15 55.71
MadJonny PB by 19 seconds. Fantastic course and race organization. Rain helped keep me cool. Was on taget for sub-48 but tired a bit in the last 2k. Very pleased with PB since no specific 10k training was done. Unaffiliated 48:17 48:17 48:00 48:17 55.98

garfieldhouse Let's make this a faster one for this year. Under 50 minutes would be good, but miles off a PB, so don't bet! Southwest Roadrunners 44:38 50:50 50:00 51:49 50.95
