ThorntonRunner Yet another attempt at breaking 40 minutes! Am in good form, but have been concentrating on Marathon training so not much short distance speed work. If the weather's OK, I should do it given my Desford result from mid-March (Desford was hillier, and keen headwind for last two miles - still got 40:17). It'll be close though. Alf Tupper Oh dear. Don't know what happened but not a good time. Race was good fun despite the drizzle, cold and wind! Always love the finish into Pride Park.
