FrightenedMan Brilliant race, great marshalling, beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. Nice mug in the goody bag too! It's part of one of my normal (long) runs but I've never raced it before. Really chuffed with my time. FERC 54:12 54:12 54:12 61.88
Hanneke On recommendation of Wilde Rover, going to give this one a try :-) If its indeed VERY hilly, then I shant be doing it within the hour... UPDATE: yes, VERY hilly... was runnning strong on the uphills, however, had to go slow on the downhills because of my niggly knee (ITB) so just outside an hour. Nice race, and nice to meet Wilde Rover and see Welsh Alex, Angela Jones and a nice bloke I met during the Hereford 10k. Rather nice if lots of people start saying hello at races :-) FELL PONIES 57:22 58:41 1:00:00 1:01:24 57.24

The_Saint According to my Garmin, this has 3250 feet of elevation change, this course is magnificent. San Domenico RC 49:06 49:06 53:19 59.91
WildeRover Would be pleased to go sub 1hr again on this very, very, very hilly course. Update - training run on 21 June, went round the race course in 57:37, so should be a PB.

Well, I suffered. My leg didn't feel good after the first mile and a half, hills after that felt hard, I pushed when I could, but didn't feel particularly strong at any point. Puffed, panted, sweated, toiled - and ended up a whole three seconds different from my prediction. To be honest, I'm quite pleased with that. Lliswerry Runners 54:18 57:29 57:30 57:29 53.73
