jdc I went into this race with fear and trepidation however I came out having really enjoyed it and wondering why I was so scared. Still not convinced that spikes were the right choice of footwear due to the number of paths that there were but really did need them in the bomb craters. It didn't feel as cold as it was due to the brilliant sunshine and I made the right choice of clothing even if the hat looked stupid. A great race a great day.
