flyingfinn Nice race :-) Organisation a little fragile in places but the setting more than makes up for it and though the course undulates its not really enough to deter flat out running. Dark Peak Fell Runners Club 32:50 38:31 38:36 73.85

Jelly Baby Not quite sure what happened on this one - felt like I was flying and running superfast and then saw the clock at the finish line and couldnt believe it! Ah well you win some and you lose some! Unaffiliated 38:55 38:55 37:55 39:11 75.84

McGettingThere The greatest challenge with this race always seems to be actually getting to the start line:) Once parked and registered the run itself is great. Enough undulations to make sure you don't get stuck in a rut but nothing bad enough to slow you much. Even pace and even managed a bit of a sprint finish (by my standards anyway:)) Penistone Footpath Runners AC, Fell Runners Association 37:03 38:47 38:47 69.30
mellow yellow Wasn't surprised the start was delayed when I saw the queue for the race numbers. Everything else was well organised. Enjoyed the race anyway and the marshalls were friendly. A PB according to my garmin 55:09

The Mighty D Ran the race last year after TBow said it should be a good flat race. Although not flat weather was good and race time achieved was best so far. This year race seems more organised and chip timing has been introduced which should alleiviate the pile up at the finish line.

Post race note: delay of twenty minutes at start due to race number collection system. Didn't go all out at start as per usual and managed to achieve PB which i am well pleased with! Race time of 47:52 recorded on i pod. Wil check out official chip time later in week and amend accordingly. Shouldn't be too different. Chip time 13 seconds slower. Not sure why this is. Happened at BUPA Yorkshire as well this year. Unaffiliated 45:22 48:05 50:30 48:05 55.41
Trehis Just did not feel right for this today but I know I can run this race a lot faster. Unaffiliated 38:18 38:18 40:01 71.82
upsy daisy The delay at the start was a little disappointing, if not unexpected. Never been to a race where they give ALL the race numbers and chips out on the morning of the race?!!? Still got a PB though......and it was very hilly in parts. Northbrook AC 55:52 58:13 1:02:00 58:13 53.38
