Glitzie The weather was awful today cold, wet and windy. First half of the race was okay and I was averaging 8.30 miles so was on target for a PB but the second half the wind and rain got me at 9 miles across the fields and I started going backwards. TK Running Turned up, wind howling, cold, rain and hail sideways around mile 9..........absoloutely loved it. Sure conditions could of been better but felt great when I had finished.Predicted 2.15 but manged 2.06.36. Really chuffed for my first half marathon. I have not spoken to any fetchies but saw a few, should of said hello, will know next time..........get a fetchies running shirt....saw canary yellow, will say hello next time. hopisen Although the weather was appalling, was really pleased to get a PB. First ten miles were really good, on track for 2 h 10.. the last three were a real struggle though, and I had to really slow for the last 5 k. Still now I know what I need to do to get another PB.
