dimple Found the course a lot better than last year. I was over 5 mins slower but my aim was to just get round :) as had shin splints and not trained very much. Unaffiliated 59:06 1:03:42 1:06:03 46.48

RunningBob I thought that the 2-lap worked well - much better than the old 3-lap course. I was surprised that they did the 2 laps of the track to start but I did quite enjoy being in the lead for the first 600m.

Having being left for dead by both the Kenyan and the Welsh man I ran alone in 3rd for 9km. Then out of nowhere a determined guy sprinted straight past me in the last 100m - never seen him before although he looked a bit like PatO. So 4th in my season's worst time but my legs just seem to feel a bit heavy in the current humidity and hayfever. Wilmslow RC 33:01 33:01 33:30 34:05 83.64

XB A flattish route made diifficult by sharp turns. A well organised race though. I'd do it again. Ribble Valley Runners 45:56 46:36 49:00 47:58 59.92
Hoppo Manchester 10k - a difficult race, was hot and i was still suffering with my dodgy stomach bug, had to stop half way around to be sick. With this in mind not a bad time, up until twp weeks ago (leeds 10k) this would have been a minute under my pb. Unaffiliated 51:06 52:19 52:00 53:05 50.39

McNewbie A lot more undulating than expected, but in a good challenging way, I think! Really tried to get that PB down but not to be. Well organised and a great atmosphere, quite liked the stadium finish :) Unaffiliated 1:03:16 1:03:16 1:06:00 1:05:09 45.62
