Geococcyx I broke my 7 year PB, but still didn't have a great race! I now know why eating a big curry the night before a race is not a good idea. I felt dehydrated and queezy throughout the race and the lack of training in June due to my ankle injury also had an affect on my time. RunningBob I really want to like this race as Manchester deserves a good big race (as opposed to the expensive walk that is the GMR). But they really need to sort out the course - wasted lots of time weaving between crowds of slower runners that I was lapping - difficult to focus when you can no longer see your targets ahead.
