Biastai Can I get a PB? I reckon so! Thought I missed a PB, but just made it with sec to spare. 5:53, 5:49 then dropped to 6:30 ish for mile splits DOH! Unaffiliated 18:38 18:55 18:20 18:55 71.53
Cliffy tc A PB but not the margin I wanted. I could make a few excuses but at the end of the day I just didn't try hard enough - but who cares, I really enjoyed it and will try and enter more 5k's for a good hard blast. :-) Sorry betters, just amended my time to the official race time. Marcus Fast and excellent course, one of my favourite races! Hellishly muggy evening but the rain held off until just after I'd finished. My VRAC colleague Tony Archer was partly responsible for a big pb as I tagged him most of the way round. Results seema bit out: I clocked 18:40 -race clock had me at 18:37 but official results at 18:45. C'est la vie. Vale Royal AC, Fell Runners Association 18:01 18:45 18:45 71.64
