Peacey More hilly/undulating than the website suggested & not a PB course IMO, some long incline drags & was fairly windy in places which didnt help. Difficult to assess what shape im in after this run, feel i should of run quicker but off the back of no taper & some decent mileage this is most likely a fair result given the circumstances. Pathtower Chippenham Half 1.36.09. wanted to run as a training run - went out at a good race pace but faded after 9 miles and fell just before finish going on to a kerb - probably cost about 20s but was tired anyway. 6.26, 7.09, 6.54, 7.04, 7.12, 14.35, 7.26, 7.30, 7.34, 7.47, 7.56, 7.33. artypete Was a tough race, just like last year. Felt exhausted all week leading up to the race, had a tough 32 mile bike ride 2 days before, worked way too hard on speed sessions without getting enough rest Strong wind against us this time - everyone seemed to suffer.
