Gobi High risk bet. Will be off very high mileage and the race may well be on a snow laden route. Saying that, as I have no really PB at this distance it is possible I will PB without trying very hard.

Rach E What a race!! Looked this race up as I knew I'd be in NY and this race was the nearest half I could find. It was in the mountains, very hilly, minus 8 degrees, fresh snowfall and at altitude. Had to stop to hack my guts up a couple of times after having a virus this week but was very pleased with the result and found it the most enjoyable race I'd ever done. We were made so welcome by the hosts - even given an excellent prize for the furthest travelled race participants(!) I came third woman overall and got a great new top, a bottle of wine and a medal. They also threw lunch for free to all participants! I'd love to say I'll be back...Maybe I will?! Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet, Newbury Velo 1:20:28 1:21:44 1:31:08 70.75
