cerid Was never going to be pretty since I hadn't run the distance since July but the additional of yesterday's exertions at Fan Fawr had me really strugglign from about 10k in. spanky the wonder monkey My first half and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wished I'd pushed a bit harder on the section I knew well (first 8 miles) but was well happy to finish on the same hour number as the winner. Really well organised event. I was expecting more congestion on the route with there being 14,000 people actually running but I found it comparatively uncluttered. Was expecting quite a slow first mile, but from the off was on, and maintaining, my target pace. Really nice route, taking in numerous iconic Cardiff landmarks and masses of supporters within the city itself.
