NorthernFairy WOW. Significantly improved on my PB! Delighted, especially as I was very intimidated at the start as a very small field (around 100) compared to my last race (Mersey Tunnel, 1000s) and everyone seemed to be a club runner. I was convinced I was going to be last! Very very quick start but everyone really strung out after a few k. Didn't get lapped which was good and pushed myself hard, ran a few k alone due to stringing out which was odd, felt like I was tranining not racing! Massive grin when I crossed the line and clocked my time. Race was really well organised. FERC 56:15 56:15 58:00 56:15 54.30
